Bluegrass Gold

From April 1999, through September 2007, when the venue lost its lease, Larry produced the monthly Bluegrass Gold series at the Sweetwater in Mill Valley. The series featured acts such as Peter Rowan, Laurie Lewis, Kathy Kallick, Laurel Canyon Ramblers, David Grisman, and many more traveling and Bay Area bluegrass bands. There were 139 shows, with an attendance total of 12,045, which averages out to 86.7 people per show. After Sweetwater closed, he moved the show to a new venue, Sweetwater Station, in Larkspur, where the series ran (until the venue closed) from October 2007, until August 2008. There were 12 shows there, with an attendance total of 755, which averages out to 62.9 people per show.
